Building Futures is a Capital Improvements Campaign by the Family Crisis Center of the Big Bend.
Our goal is to raise $1 million to renovate an existing building in Alpine into a new office and emergency shelter for our Alpine location.
The Family Crisis Center of the Big Bend provides scheduled, walk-in, and emergency services to clients who have experienced Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Violent Crime, or Teen Dating Violence. In 2021 we were able to serve 451 clients with 41 of those clients spending time in one of our two emergency shelters. A larger building would allows us to make an even greater impact on all five counties that we serve.
Donate today to help us towards our goal!
In September of 2022 the Family Crisis Center received the Sharing Success Grant from Rio Grande Electric Cooperative and their partners; CoBank, Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) Transmission Services, and LCRA WSC Energy.
